Non c'è molto da dire riguardo al carnevale di Venezia, se non che è semplicemente affascinante e che è impossibile andare lì e non aver voglia di provare, anche se solo per un giorno uno di quegli affascinanti vestiti indossati da chi il carnevale lo vuol vivere da protagonista.
Gli unici consigli sono: un buon paio di scarpe comode, pranzo al sacco, non pernottate lì (a meno che non siete ospiti di qualcuno) e una buona macchina fotografica. Lasciate a casa la guida turistica, per un giorno Venezia sarà solo una splendida cornice dove incontrare personaggi di epoche passate...visiterete poi le sue bellezze in un'altra occasione.There is not much to say abaut Venice's carnival if not that is just amazing and it is impossible going there without dreaming to wear, even if just for a single day, one of that charming costume that only people love to live the carnival as a protagonist would dare to buy (or rent).
Just few advices before you go: you need a confortable pair of shoes, a good camera, take your lunch from home (or buy something before you reach the city, the farest the better) and don't spend the night there (unless you're not sleeping at some friend's/relative's home).Leave at home your lonelyplanet: for that day Venice will only be a beautiful frame of a painting where it will be possible to meet people from the past. I'm sure you'll have an other opportunity to visit the city in a different moment.
